Stopped by Touge Factory to chat a little bit today. Got a order together and got some ideas as far as other things I need, like injectors. 650cc might do the trick, 850cc are also there for pretty much the same money, so I'll need to do some more fancy math to figure out what will work.
I did order a new Nismo fuel pressure regulator from a private seller as it was awesome deal.

Next few upgardes are going to be

  • ARP head bolts, BC cams/valvetrain and head gasket upgrade
  • Seat / cage
  • Hypersingle
  • injectors and tune

DD18 was yesterday. Pretty weak as far as I saw, maybe because the guys I wanted to see weren't there, maybe because of the crappy weather, either way - not at all excited about the trip. Only good thing that came out of it was that I picked up my RUCAs. I also found a new diff cover. I shall post pic of it once it arrives at my doorstep, gets sandblasted and made pretty.

Received the driveshaft and tension rods today, pretty surprised as I expected to pick it up at DD18 this weekend. Still got to pay for the RUCAs and than I'm off to the last drift day of the season.

As of Friday, everything in front of the firewall is stitch welded. Vinny did hell of job, and now I need to get my ass in gear, remove all the crap from interior and get the inside done and put the cage in. BUT this weekend I was being super lazy and ended up not working on the car. Went out and bought a few things tho. Monday its back to work and scraping off the sound deadning material from the floorboards. Lots still to do, but the end is near, money is the only thing that will slow me down as both the cage and coilovers will be a major expense.

Nothing sexy to report. But I did get the balljoints pressed into the front LCAs at Vinny's (Read: Vinny did it). The stitch welding phase needs to be over soon - VERY soon, as it seems the progress has stalled. And I haven't even started into getting a cage yet either.
As far as wiring goes, I think I got a pretty good idea of what to do next, with at least part of the harness.
