More harness cutting fun this past Sunday. Still no FSM, but I got rid of a lot. Most of the relays are gone. Harness is pretty much stripped as far as I can tell. The only thing that is left is to separate the harness into two sections. One that will be inside along with the fusebox. The second will have:
12v supply from starter
hi/low beams
horn
turn signals
windshield washer pump
wipers
Reading up FSM is no fun, especially with so many circuits that I have to go through.
I also made arrangements to the the RUCAs to me. Got a pretty sweat deal on them as well. Now I just need some coilovers and the sway bars before my suspension mods are complete. I started to put a little money away for the coilovers, but got to bring the credit card balances down a little bit before finally getting them.

Started to play with the wiring. OH how fun this shit is. I almost want to go back to cleaning up all the seams now, but its too late. The rear harness is done up to the SMJ. For the rest, I'll have to read up a lot, so FSM comes in handy. Too bad I don't have a laptop as it would help out ALOT!!!
I thought I had something else done too, but I can't recall it at the moment and I got to go back to reading up the FSM.

Trying to figure out if I should go top mount or bottom mount. But either way, I've spent more money this week than I made, so I'm sad that I'm broke, but I'm happy because the UPS man will come to see me again :D I love the UPS man, he brings you the cool stuff, the mailman only brings you bills LOL.
Either way, some more mods are on the way to the garage, and will be installed shortly after. Feel the excitement!!!! hehe

While waiting for the S14 to cool down, I started to mess with the S13 a little. First was the trans mount, pretty easy install, although I fucked up and didn't see which way the trans mount was pointing, so it might be backwards - lol. Than I moved on to the steering rack bushings, next came taking off the turbo/lines/manifold. With that off, I noticed that the engine chain is held down by one of the bolts I needed to remove, so I stopped. Going to either take off the transmission and put the engine on the stand or try to figure something else. But at least I got some things done.

I got a few leads on some BV tension rods, SPL Rucas, radiator hose and a turbo. Hoping something will pan out. But for now its back to cleaning up the seams and hoping that god will drop a wiring guru on my doorstep.
Today I stopped by to pick up some stuff, check on the doors, and while there I installed the short shifter - one less thing to worry about later on. Probably going to do the motor mount when I get a chance.
This weekend going to play with the S14 some more. Once its put together, I'll focus back on the S13 more.

Finally received all the Peak Performance studs for the S14 front hubs. Pressed the last one on Sunday. One more thing gets crossed off the ToDo list.
Started talking to the guy with a killer deal on S13 swaybars again, currently out of stock, but I'll be getting some as soon as they get them. Also started to think of the engine management solutions that would be available and most efficient. So far, enthlapy looks like it might be the best solution.

Nothing too exciting, but I did borrow a 350Z mirrors and they did bolt up, although the harness is a little in the way. To solve this, I'll either drill a new hole or cut the harness, as I won't be using power mirrors anyway. Now the fun of hunting them down begins. I just wish I had time to stop by a few junkyards and pick them up.
