So the SAFC2 is here, brand spanking new condition for about 1/2 the price that they go on eBay for :D YEP I am a CHEAP BASTARD!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA.
Anyway, I also got under the car and finally was able to take off the drain bolt on the bottom of the tranny with help from Lewe and his mighty impact. Although I was worried as last time we used that thing, we broke every socket we used. But all went fine, replacing the fluid was easier through the shifter hole, but I am still kicking myself because I forgot to bring the short shifter with me!! DOH!!
I also ordered some tie rods from Kuah, so more SPLPats are coming from the suspenison gods HAHAHA. And after talking with Lewe about the powerbrace and the FLCAs, we're going to go crazy and box those suckers in to add support. But since its not a 2hr project, it will be all done at the same time.
I'd like to call this: Suspension Stage 1.
It will include
X SPLParts Z32/Pro Tie Rods
O SPLParts v2 Tension Rods - with the brake deflectors
O DIY Power Brace - boxing in the tension rod brackets and bracing them together
O DIY LCA upgrade - boxing it in (and possibly new bushings)
X Subframe spacers - 8 piece slip on kind
Suspension Stage 2 is being planned as of right now, but will be something along the lines of:
O KTS Coilovers all around
On the front:
O Hicas Steering rack
X new rack bushings
On the rear:
O Toe rods
O Traction Rods
X 2way LSD
But as its a lot more $$ it will be done around June/July.
