I finally got my new steering wheel in. It is the shit! The 2.75in difference makes a huge improvement. Now the wheel is closer, the turns feel a lot better and more fun.

Today was a good day. After receiving my Greddy 60mm gauge holder, I was really bummed out because it didn't fit my gauge. I couldn't figure it out, till I crunched the numbers. For some reason I figured that 60mm was 2 5/8inches, but its NOT, its 1/4 smaller! so that was the reason why my gauge didn't fit it properly.
Well after some searching, I was able to find exactly what I needed to make it work!
Yay for me, and soon I will be rocking with my new gauge holders!

Great write up.

After recently not really doing anything to the S13, today I decided to make it up to her. Started off with simple oil change. Nothing difficult, but nesscessary maintnance. Than I continued to freeze my ass as I installed the windshield washer squirters, NOT THE LED ONES!!!!! the OEM units, as driving without them in this kind of weather is just plain crazy.
As I continued to look for ways to mount my gauges, it came to me. I had all the parts yet failed to actually install any kind of CD player or even FM radio. Well, after few minutes looking over the wiring harnesses of both, S13 and S14, and some careful wire management, than remembering that there is no ground in OEM harness (DOH!) I got my OEM S14 CD player to work in the S13. YAY!!! Speakers suck, I get low volume, the antena isn't hooked up and the motor is fubar on it, but I got sound!!! LOL. It's not a utalitarian rust bucket anymore. Were talking about CD quality sound and leather seats here! This is Baller status shit! ROTFLMAO. OK, its 3AM, I just came out from handing out in the garage for few hours in this freezing cold rather than watch TV, You better beleive I'm nuts!!!!

On Monday I had blew my thermostat, so for a day and a half I had no heat! Really sucks as the temps were around 10F both days.
Wed. I got a chance to work on it a little bit, and its back to the previous heated glory! Of course now the temp are in the mid 30's LOL, but I am glad that I got it done as soon as I did.
