"In order to adjust the brightness you'll have to use both feeds, however most gauges do not have a separate ground supply for the bulb. In that case, the red/blue is the illumination. If you do have a separate plug directly to the bulb tie the ground side to the red/yellow, this is the dimmer wire, otherwise it just goes to ground."

WI trip - it was cool, and nothing happened according to plan.
Lets see, Joe was a little late, I ran out of gas, we're late to meet Dave, Dave has issues with the 240Z he's driving so we stop on the side of the highway, than we make it to Brad's house, but leave to Midwest Hybrid to meet up with Morgan and Matt. Matt got a new rollbar installed, I got a quote on mine, Dave's Z has radiator issues, we all surf Myspace while the radiator gets fixed, never end up going on the twisites as the weather sucks, its wet and the thunderstorm night before broke a lot of trees.
Thats about it. LOL
Pretty crazy, pretty fun, all is well, we'll do the WI twisties again next year. By that time, the S14 will be alive!!!!

First of all, let me just say that Joe AKA DJNARush, was a huuuuuge help. Probably I wouldn't do this without him, so big thanks go out there.
So, today was pretty big day as far as the S13 is concerned - The VLSD swap. Or as I shall call it, Fun in the rain. The day started off nice, and the progress of the swap started, so did the rain. Luckily Joe an I managed to get all of the stuff done regardless of the rain, cold, laying in the puddles (joe had my creeper :D ) the bolts that weren't long enough that we got as the store was closing, the missing washers, and I'm sure the list goes on.
The VLSD is on, we had fun even in the shitty weather, and I managed to hang out all day with a very cool buddy. All is well, and I owe you one Joe.
Remember, the S14 needs a VLSD swapped in too :P

Just came back from a quick cleanup in the garage. Since the Wisconsin trip is this Sunday, I still got a lot of work to do.
Swap wheels w/ S14
Change oil
Change trans fluid
Install VLSD
Install the new oil/water gauges that should arrive tomorrow.

So far everything should be done before weekend except for the tranny/VLSD. I am hoping that Friday after work I can just throw it on jackstands and go crazy with it.
Only thing that I am worried about is the VLSD, as its pretty big and heavy, so I need some help with taking it off and putting it back on. But rest should be easy as pie.

This is a great spec sheet of the dimensions of the 240sx chassis.
Now go and do your own supports, tie bars, etc. You know you want to!!!
