I know I haven't really writen anything in a while, but I've been pretty busy for a while, and Wed. I got hin while driving the S14. The car is pretty much dead, which sucks big time,as I've loved that car.
This weekend I pretty much got to work on my S13 big time, so that I have something to drive in. After day and an half of working, it is read ready car. The idle on the SR20DET is fixed, I also had a small exhaust leak that got fixed as well. 300ZX Z32 brakes are on, 26mm ones of course. I installed the Carbon Fiber 180sx hood and some hood pins, added manual seatbelts, fixed the issue with driveshaft loop, finished the 5lug swap on the front. Thats all I can think of for now, as I am very tired and I am just glad this thing drives.

Yesterday picked up the 5bolt axles for the Z32 NA VLSD that will be getting installed soon. Went all the way to WI to pick it up and for a JGTCA.com meet. Had great time, but didn't really take any pics.
This is the one that looks the best.

I haven't really been doing much to the car. Just too much work and when I get home there are people that need me to come out and fix their systems. So this week I did nothing but fix people's computers (and I still have one more to do next week)
I did get the S14 paid off, which is a big load off my mind and pocket book, so now I can concentrate on other things. Like the Z32 VLSD that is just sittting there, waiting for me to get the 180sx axles, which I will be picking up this weekend. So next week I will be working on the S13 just a little bit. I also want to take it for a nice ride, but for that, I need the hood nice and secure.
I also managed to get few Z32 MAF plugs, so those are up for sale, as well as the S13 KA24DE MAF and S13 coolant overflow tank. So if anyone is interested, LMK.

I am trying something new. this entry is made by using a text recognition software. I am just testing it out, but so for it works pretty nicely.
But back to the car, I did manage to get the sunroof to close properly. it did end take as much of an effort or time as I originally thought it would. I am hoping to receive the sender for the oil temperature gauge the sender sometime this week. this would allow me to make the gauge work over the weekend. Saturday I also plan to stop by and get the my wheels sandblasted over by the Gil's shop. I will probably end up painting them, but am unsure of the color. I would powder coat them, but one of them is not in a good enough shape to be powder coated.
I also should have time to at least change the oil and the speed sensor in the transmission. but then again if I am under there I might as well do the wiring harness at the same time. I guess it all the is on how much time I will have before the meet. for now I am just waiting for though parts to get here.

Zilvia.net Forums - Wiring 2 electric fans? use 2 relays?: "85----ignition switched & fused power (ie: ECM power wire, radio power wire, etc...)
86----thermostatic switch (on just higher than thermostat, off ~10-15* under)----ground
30----30A fuse----battery constant power
.........--fan--ground
87--<
.........--fan--ground"
Cuz I need to remember how to wire up a relay.

I talked to the Egauges.com guys about the oil temp issue. They couldn't figure it out either, so a new sender is on the way. Pretty nice of them to do that. Now I just got to wait till it gets here and hope it works.

I haven't really posted anything in a while, but I have been tinkering with whole lot of stuff and I did manage to get quite a few things done. There are still things that need work before the car is road ready.
A major thing was the purchase of Carbon Fiber hood, it looks good but I now noticed that I need to work on the latch, as its not locking all the way. Probably just needs a good lube. This wasn't really a planned upgrade, but at the price, I couldn't let it pass me by. So at least for a while, I will be sticking with 180sx styling, the Silvia conversion might be put off till late next year.
Today I managed to fix the sunroof, making it close all the way now. Wasn't all that hard either, just a little creative solution. I also figured a perfect place for hood pins in the core support for the Carbon Fiber hood.
I also managed to go to a junkyard and pick up few things, among them a spare speed sensor, couple of Z32 maf plugs that I will be selling later on, couple of blinker lights and a power steering hose for Morgs.
Since I got a little side job coming up, I might be able to get few more parts picked up. I think I will save up for T28/Z32MAF/ECU tune till winter time. And soon I will be picking up the axles for my Z32 VLSD and be installing it by the end of the month. YAY!!!!
