Tonight we went to watch the racing. But nothing is as easy as it seems. While on the highway, and doing speeds that well exceed the local traffic laws, I get passed by a group of 5 cars that I know. Since I am going with a buddy of mine, I had to wait up and not start chasing them. Than about a mile down the road I see them pull into a gas station, but I couldn't make the 3 lane change, so I wait for them on the next light. Give them a call to see what happened and why they pulled over, only to find out that one of the genius drivers had lost a wheel!!! He didn't tighten his lug nuts and the rate of speed at which he was going, didn't help to keep them on. I don't know if he was just putting on his wheels recently or did this happen over a period of time, but I know that everyone checked theirs before they got on the way again. This made me think, that it might not be the best idea to go with these guys again. So next week, I'm going to movies or something.
